Community College & Corporate Partnerships

DePaul University School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers individuals the opportunity to complete their undergraduate degree as a student in one of our community college or corporate cohorts. Students in the cohort enjoy the convenience of taking courses onsite and online in the partner classroom without ever needing to come to one of the DePaul Campuses. Cohort students become DePaul students upon admission, are taught DePaul courses by DePaul instructors, and are provided full access to all DePaul student resources. DePaul is pleased to offer its Bachelor of Arts Degree completion program in Business Administration onsite at the Chicago Police Academy to active officers in the Chicago Police Department. See your career advance and set yourself up for success as you major in Business Administration and complete your Bachelor of Arts degree in professional studies. DePaul will help you gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need as a manager, supervisor or administrator in the corporate or nonprofit sectors. Students in this program will earn credit for prior learning and professional training experience through the Chicago Police Academy. And, DePaul’s onsite presence at the academy makes being a student again even more manageable.

Beginning Fall 2021, DePaul University School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is offering the opportunity for students earning an Associate in Arts, Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration or with equivalent credit hours, the ability to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies with a major in Business Administration on the College of Lake County’s campus at the University Center of Lake County (UCLC).

Benefits of the program include:

  • Courses taught by DePaul faculty both on-site at the UCLC in Grayslake, IL and online
  • Flexibility to complete your bachelor's degree on either a part-time or full-time schedule

DePaul University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers a Bachelor of Arts degree completion program with a major in Business Administration to employees from its corporate education partners. Students will complete courses with other adult students as part of the Corporate Partner Cohort (CPC). Students typically take two courses per quarter, which is a part-time schedule, and with guidance from their academic advisor, students may choose to take additional courses.  The number of courses a student transfers and the amount of credit hours taken each quarter will determine the length of the program.

This program is currently offered online. Chicago-based students may be able to select courses with in-person, campus-based instruction. All students may choose to finish the degree-completion program online.

Building on the partnership between Harold Washington College and DePaul University, students earning an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Management/Marketing through the Aon Apprenticeship Program are eligible for guaranteed admission to DePaul University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies, a long-standing leader in providing educational opportunities for working adults.

Benefits of the partnership program include:

  • Guaranteed acceptance of credit earned in the approved Harold Washington A.A.S. degree curriculum for Aon Apprenticeship participants
  • Flexibility to choose between online or evening classes at the DePaul Loop Campus to create a schedule that works for you
  • Ability to complete a Computing or Business Administration bachelor's degree in as little as 24months
  • Students may earn credit for professional and life experience through Prior Learning Assessment.
