Course: Introduction to Labor Leadership II: Written & Verbal Union Communications and Meeting FacilitationIn this course, you will learn how to create verbal and written union communications including leaflets, newsletters, phone scripts and field messaging, and how to effectively use social media for outreach and campaigns. The course will also teach you how to improve your public speaking skills, and how to run effective meetings using Parliamentary Procedure and other formats. *This class is offered every winter starting in January.
This certificate program is intended for union, worker center and community-based organization members, staff, activists, and Executive Board officers. You are welcome to enroll at any level: Beginner (Working knowledge of topics), Competent (Good working and background knowledge of topics), or Proficient (Depth of understanding of topics).
