Application Process

- All SCPS applications are submitted online. Create an online account here, and when prompted, select "School of Continuing and Professional Studies".
- Order all transcripts from accredited schools and universities you have attended and have them sent in as part of your application.
- Electronic transcripts and test scores can be sent electronically to electronictranscripts@depaul.edu.
- If you are submitting transcripts via SCRIP-SAFE, please be sure to connect with the DePaul University Undergraduate Admissions account.

Admission Requirements
Professional Degree Programs for Adults
DePaul provides a distinctive approach for adult learners through its professional degree programs. You may pursue a professional degree program with or without previous college credit. You must be age 24 or older, have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA from your last school attended. Exceptions can be made upon review of an individual’s credentials by an admissions representative.

Adult Accelerated Degree Completion Program
To be eligible for an adult accelerated degree completion program, you must have an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from Illinois or 66 equivalent semester hours applicable to the degree program (based upon review); minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Exceptions may be made if transcripts are older than three years.
