Christine Fojtik

Christine Fojtik received her PhD in Modern European and Gender and Women's History from the University of Wisconsin. She has taught at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, where she was also co-instructor in the New Cultural Experience Program (NCEP) in Marburg, Germany, and at Fürst-Franz Gymnasium in Dessau, Germany as part of Fulbright's Teaching Assistantship program. In 2007 she received an Early Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Wisconsin's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her research interests include gender, consumerism, sexuality, and national identity in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.
