Biography
Catherine Headley received her Master of Sport Science degree in Fitness Management from the United States Sports Academy in Mobile, Alabama in 1985. She went on to pursue her Master of Science in Health Service Administration from the University of St. Francis in 1997, followed by a PhD in Leisure Behavior from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She finished her doctoral studies in 2009, culminating with the dissertation “Examination of N’Balance, a Community-Based Fall Prevention Intervention for Older Adults”. Throughout her career, she has worked in both mental health and higher education. She enjoys working with people, spending time with her family, and following the Chicago Cubs.
