Biography
Wendy Yanow (she/her) is an adult educator with more than 30 years of experience. She holds an EdD and MA in Adult Education from National Louis University and a BA in Liberal Arts and Music from the University of Illinois Chicago. Wendy contributed the chapter Teaching Against Colorblindness to the text, Teaching Race: How to help students unmask and challenge racism. She is a justice, equity, and anti-racism facilitator/consultant for the collective Adult Learning Unleashed, the Anti-Defamation League, the Evanston YWCA Equity Institute, Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation of Greater Chicago, Dr. Logan Consulting and she is a Trustee of Oakton Community College.
