Compliance Training:

Code of Conduct and complete general compliance training within 45 days of your hire date.

Login to
Campus Connect, click Self-Service>Personal Information and update your preferred contact information. You are expected to regularly review your
depaul.edu email during the quarter. Access to email and other university services is activated when you have a contract to teach.
SCPS Online Faculty Training:
- D2L Essentials is a self-paced online course designed to help faculty become familiar with the most commonly used features of Desire2Learn, DePaul's learning management system. To access the course materials, visit
go.depaul.edu/D2Lessentials.
- Once you’ve completed all of the hands-on tasks at the bottom of each page, please complete the D2L Essentials Verification Form. A FITS staff member will review your course and notify you if you’ve successfully completed all of the tasks.
- Online Facilitation Essentials (OFE) Training is a two-week, fully online training that helps faculty master the fundamentals of facilitating existing online and hybrid courses. Faculty will learn and apply pedagogical strategies for online discussion, feedback, and time management. Participants will also experience group activities, online discussion, and online learning activities from a student perspective. Please visit

Room Preferences:
If teaching at the Loop campus and need classroom configurations or equipment, please complete your classroom preferences by the deadline for the quarter. Login to
Campus Connect and choose Self Service >Faculty Center>Instructor Resources >Faculty Profile. Select room preferences and Save. Your course is assigned a classroom based on these preferences and your course capacity. If you need a Loop computer lab (known as a PC classroom), reserve it at
https://25live.collegenet.com/depaul/.
Roster:
Most SCPS undergraduate courses have multiple rosters that separately list students registered for each competency. Login to
Campus Connect, click For Instructors > Access SCPS Roster.
Syllabus:
If teaching on-campus, email your
syllabus as an attachment to
scpsupc@depaul.edu. SCPS Online course syllabi are maintained by the program.
Textbooks:
If teaching on-campus, please create an account and enter your textbook order at
https://sso.bncollege.com. Students can purchase books for all courses at
http://depaul.bncollege.com
