Biography
Jimmie is a tireless advocate for students - with over 20 years of higher education leadership experience and 20 years of teaching at the university level. During that time, Jimmie led programs to enhance student retention and persistence and to strengthen community partnerships. Most recently, Jimmie served as the Director of Student Development for the Department of Urban Agriculture at Olive Harvey College. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Community and Educational Partnerships for the University of California, Berkeley and as the Director of the Educational Outreach Programs at Purdue University Northwest.
