Lisa Avila

Biograph​​y

A self-identified Vincentian, Lisa has committed their life path to supporting social justice movements. Before joining the Labor Education Center, Lisa worked in family services, philanthropy, civil rights and exonerations, events, and high school-to-college initiatives. In addition, Lisa holds two master's in American Culture Studies and Advertising and Public Relations. Outside the office, Lisa works to create spaces of joy and resilience for queer Latinx communities.
