Biography
Shafeeqa is committed to empowering future labor leaders by bridging the gap between technology, education, and worker advocacy. She aspires to empower youth to become catalysts in the Labor Movement, Connecting the present with the drive to inspire change for a better tomorrow. She holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from DePaul University and New Product Development from IIM, Bangalore. Using her expertise in AI, marketing, and strategic leadership, Shafeeqa leads the LEC’s efforts to expand its reach, enhance its digital engagement, and grow its marketing and fundraising capacities. Shafeeqa has been with the LEC for two years, during which she has effectively leveraged her knowledge and experience to navigate the complexities of the American labor movement. She brings a global perspective, having worked in event management and digital strategy across industries worldwide, where she has supported small businesses and empowered women entrepreneurs.
