Major Requirements

​​The Computing major offers five separate concentrations and two of them are available fully online. Students in each of the five concentrations complete the Professional Studies Core and two courses in the Computing Core. The rest of the requirements for the major can be found in the list of concentrations on the left menu. The two concentrations that can be completed fully online are Computer Science and Information Technology.

Major Requirements

At least 40 credit hours must be completed in residence (at DePaul) taken from the following categories: Professional Studies Core, Computing Core, Computing Concentration, and Computing Electives including FA 199 and at least 20 of those 40 credits must be taken from CDM (the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul).
