You can select a course in your degree program (not a residency requirement) or a current course from another department at DePaul. It may also be possible to choose a course from another accredited institution, with consultation.
Review the syllabus of the selected course and determine whether your prior learning relates to each of the outcomes stated in the syllabus.
Prepare an explanation for how your prior learning demonstrates each outcome and collect supporting documentation. See Preparing for PLA and Sample Submission for additional guidance.
